This will be my first bookshop event in Huntingdon and I’m really looking forward to it.
This year when I had the author photo taken for the latest book cover I decided to wear clothes from Freddies of Pinewood. This is their Texsun jacket and jeans coupled with the Lana top. And let’s face it, how could I resist any top with the same name as my daughter!
There are many reasons I love Freddies’ clothes, they’re beautifully cut and flattering but, most of all, I feel totally myself wearing them.
I have my eye on the Pearl Grey Button Jeans and the Grease Monkey next.
Oh, and the Marilyn Sweater.
And pedal pushers called ‘Lana’?… surely I need those to go with the top?
And, as the title of this post hints, it isn’t just me who’s a fan of Freddies of Pinewood. It has turned into a family affair.
Jacen loves his Freddies’ jeans, he says they’re the best he’s ever owned. They’re great on stage too.
And speaking of Lana… We’re all getting in on the act… here’s Lana in her Red Bluejeans. So why not check out the website www.FreddiesOfPinewood now!

It’s the start of June so Harrogate is just around the corner. Jacen and I have written a song in celebration of Theakston’s Old Peculier – he’s written the music and I’ve done the lyrics. It’s been recorded with Jacen singing and some great input from musicians including Craig Fillbrook on guitar and Lana singing the intro.
We can’t make it to the festival this year but, with the help of photos sent to me, I’ve put together a collage from last year. I hope you like it!
